A wall of stained glass – Coventry Cathedral
Thought I’d share with you some abstract views of the famous full-height stained glass mosaic window at Coventry Cathedral , made last October. Have been toying around with these as part of an entry to the upcoming Connected 2017 exhibition at Patchings Art Centre in Nottinghamshire . The cathedral was a masterpiece in art-deco design having been rebuilt after the city’s near destruction by German bombers in WW2. An ideal setting for me to lose myself a bit behind the camera , moving it during the exposure to produce motion blur , checking occasionally that what I was making was somewhat coherent and not too blurry , spent about 20 minutes doing this before I moved on to meet a couple of friends for pizza… 😉
