Nottinghamshire Pride 2015
A quick post from a walk around Nottinghamshire Pride 2015 , held within Nottingham City Centre . The day begun with a really colorful march through the City Centre , before reaching the main venue in the Lace Market Square , all held in perfect sunlight!
A great afternoon and all to photograph and lots of fun and colorful images were to be had! In particular I couldn’t help myself to the top of the Broadway Cinema to use their shiny glass frontage with the help of a polarizing filter to get some interesting geometry on the reflections as the march made it’s way down Broad Street. I then came back once the march had finished to enjoy some Brazilian dance performances on George Street.
I also got to have a good catchup with some friends along the way – and by the end just didn’t want the day to end as the atmosphere was incredibly friendly , with plenty of people being very approachable! , the funniest moment being when some police officers posed with a dog in a frame for a photograph – while some of their colleagues had a massive chuckle at the whole charade!
