Architects of Air – Exxopolis
I’ve been very fortunate to photograph some very interesting things along the way – for some interesting people. But right near the top of the list has to be an opportunity I had to photograph Architects of Air ‘s latest EXXOPOLIS luminarium (an inflatable walk-through structure , with translucent “skin” – lit from outside sunlight). The images were used in a book commemorating the company’s 20th anniversary showcasing their luminaria through the ages.
- Adaptability - Lamar was adaptable to the outdoor conditions and was able to photograph the structure in optimum light conditions.
- Skill - Lamar has a good eye and was prepared to spend the time and engage with the work in order to get original shots. Creativity allied with his technical mastery meant we had some decent images to put in our new book.
