Sabbath – Chabad Lubbovitch of Nottingham
I was comissioned by Rabbi Mendy Lent to produce a series of images telling the story of a gathering for the Jewish Sabbath , which he and his family hosted. Jewish students from local universities were invited along for a home-made (!) meal , before prayer and celebrations of the Sabbath took place later in the evening (which are not photographed).
Here I was invited to make photographs of the guests at the event which would be uploaded to the Chabad Lubbovich social media profiles , helping promote their activities to a wider audience. Guests would also be able to tag themselves and share images as a memory from the evening.
