RSA Power to Create 2015
A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of attending the RSA’s annual Power To Create Conference held at Antenna , Nottingha
Felt I’d got a lot out of attending the conference and listening to some keynote speeches particularly at the start of the day – of particular interest to me was one discussing creativity/entrepreneuship and how educational systems don’t always do the best to nurture it by Paul Roberts OBE.
Unfortunately it doesn’t surprise me – the pressure of having to “game the system” of measurable exams can’t be a good thing at all. Why most of these exams need to exist is a question which needs to be answered – at least from a UK perspective.
The Afternoon open discussions were also really enjoyable- there were nine 20-minute talks from which you could choose three to take part in. Another excellent talk which I was part of was one on integrating those on the autism spectrum further into society – which I personally also have a lot to say on too.
I had my camera with me , so here’s a short set of photographic highlights from the day.
